I’m sorry to say this but I like Patrick O’Dell the photographer more than I like Patrick O’Dell the creator/producer/handsome face of VICE’s hit show, Epicly Later’d.

Our friends the ATL Twins, who you might recognize from the cover of VICE’s March issue and from Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers, sent us a bunch of photos from the Spring Breakers premiere after-party in LA last week.

Achondroplasia is a form of dwarfism caused by a genetic mutation, affecting one in 20,000 people. In Italy, there are about 2,500 people living with achondroplasia. Italian dwarfs, as opposed to other nationalities, are particularly fond of a procedure called surgical lengthening.

I heard of Jeff Bierk just over a year ago through some friends who were obsessed with his photos. We met through chance, and he invited me to hang out with him to follow him around as he worked. I also met with his homeless, drug addicted friends. I’d soon find out that it hadn’t been long since he’d kicked addiction himself, having gone through almost twenty years of pills, death and struggle for sobriety that informed the bulk of the photos he takes.

For this series, titled “The Furtastic Adventures of the Cabbit and the Folf,” I photographed Belgian, Dutch, French, and German members of the furry fandom, where adults transform themselves into animals by wearing plush costumes.

Photograher Peter Sutherland is a frequent contributor to VICE. He travels all over the globe shooting photos, making films, and working as an artist. The New York-based shutterbug has released several books and his films include “Tierney Gearon: The Mother Project” and “Pedal.” This particular selection of photos by Sutherland captures colored light as it refracts, creating different patterns that make us feel at one with the universe.

The first photographic image ever uploaded to the web was a Photoshop disaster. It was created to sell something and featured attractive women in a come-hither pose.
In short, photo-uploading was born with some original sins that never quite washed away.

In this episode of Picture Perfect, VICE visits Zeng Han in Guanghzhou to talk about the balance between East and West and new and old in contemporary China. He tells us about his latest projects and we then acompany him as he documents modernization efforts around the city for his ongoing series titled Hyper-Reality China.
These photos were taken in San Francisco in the late 90s at one of the first medical marijuana dispensaries. You could go in and buy the weed you wanted and sit down and smoke it. Everyone was nice and friendly. I spent five days stoned out of my gourd, taking pictures. A membership was required to enter, but as a journalist, I was allowed in without one. Somehow I’ve forgotten the name of the place, which was located off Market Street near Van Ness and is now defunct.
